Thank you for your recent purchase and installation of a Suncity skylight. We believe we manufacture the highest quality and most durable skylights available in Brisbane, and that is why we stand behind the best warranty in the industry, our Lifetime Skylight Warranty. We have written this warranty in clear, plain-English terms, including the limitations and restrictions, so you will fully understand the warranty we are making to you. However, the terms contained herein are subject to change without notice.

Who Is Covered
If you live in Australia and you are the original consumer purchaser (i.e., the homeowner, not the contractor or installer), you are entitled to the benefits of this warranty.
What Is Covered
We warrant that your Suncity Skylight/s are free from any manufacturing defects that would materially affect their performance on your roof, causing leaks to occur, for the balance of the warranty period. We also warrant, being manufactured from Bluescope steel, they will not crack or split due to repeated sun exposure, causing leaks to occur, for the balance of the warranty period. 1 years warranty on all installations as per Qld legislation.
Traffic across the roof post skylight installation
Additions or alterations to the roof are not covered under this warranty. An on-site assessment of the skylight will be required in cases of traffic on the roof post the skylight installation. Prior written notification of the issue is required by the consumer 14 days before any inspection is commenced. If after the inspection it is deemed that the skylight damage is due to faulty manufacture or an incorrect installation, all repair works and associated costs will be the responsibility of Suncity Skylights. If the result of the inspection finds that the skylight damage/ fault has been inflicted or caused by other traffic on the roof, owner occupier traffic and/ or commercial, then all associated costs of repair, including the call out fee, falls to the responsibility of the consumer.
Acts of God
This warranty does not cover any events beyond the control of Suncity Skylights; such as flooding, earthquakes, bush fires, tropical cyclones, and severe storms carrying gale force winds in excess of 50km/h, causing damage to the skylight or causing leaks to occur. Any damage incurred as a result of these events, is the sole responsibility of the consumer. In such events a maintenance service is available for a modest call out fee.
How Long Are You Covered
The length of your warranty commences upon Suncity’s installation of the product and payment of the product, and continues a lifetime of coverage while you remain the original purchaser and reside in the residence the skylight was installed in.
How Can We Offer This?
By incorporating the latest tooling practices, we replace the traditional four pieces of metal base to one. Less joints in your skylight means less chances of corrosion so you benefit from a longer service life. Suncity skylights are manufactured to AS 4285 standard. This technology also reduces the reliance of sealants during the installation process giving you peace of mind when it comes to maintaining the sound integrity of your roof.
Conditions of Sale
All products and services offered for sale by Suncity Skylights are sold subject to the terms and conditions stated herein. These terms and conditions shall apply to the sale of the products and/or services offered by Suncity Skylights. By accepting a quote, either verbally or in writing or ordering a product from Suncity Skylights, you accept these conditions of sale.
Payment for all skylight installations is due on completion, unless a 30 day credit account has been approved in writing prior to the sale. Visa, MasterCard, cash, bank cheque or direct debit is accepted forms of payment. Suncity Skylights do not accept personal cheques.
Cancellation of Orders
If a cancellation occurs during the manufacturing or delivery of an order, the Customer shall fully reimburse Suncity Skylights for all costs incurred up to the time of cancellation.
If cancellation of a ‘custom order’ occurs during the manufacturing or delivery of an order, the Customer shall fully reimburse Suncity Skylights for all costs incurred up to the time of cancellation. A re-stocking fee will be charged on non transferable orders. Standard goods painted to Customers requirements shall be treated as custom orders.
Risk for damage to the product/s shall pass to the Customer at the time of receipt of the goods by the Customer on site, or by their transport company of choice.
Returns for credit will only be accepted for standard stocked products. The goods must be returned within 7 days of receipt, in their original packaging and unmarked in as new condition.
