Markings on your skylight domes may be due to tree sap and even pesky possums. Thankfully these are small problems with a quick solution. Please read and apply the recipe below and your skylight domes will give you years of trouble free clear natural lighting.
- Eucalyptus Oil: 5 -10 drops
- Water: 1 litre
- Clean Rag
- Couple of quick wipes and it will good as new
How to Clean a Skylight Diffuser
Let’s face it, the look of your skylight from the inside of the house is what it is all about. It can be quite unsightly when dust or dead insects build up on the diffuser. Cleaning with the right cleaner can not only make it look great but can also act as a deodoriser . Just follow the recipe and instructions below and you will enjoy clean efficient natural light through your skylight diffusers all year round.
- Lavender Oil: 5-10 drops
- Water: 1 cup
- Clean rag
- A few quick wipes and you are complete
Note: If you have never taken out your diffuser before simply push up, bend the diffuser slightly and ease it out. If the skylights diffuser is square no bending is required to take it out. Be sure to replace the skylight diffuser rough side facing down if it is a prismatic variety.
